The parents of children who will have to stay at home for the protection of their children are entitled to a wage compensation of 50% of their salary, but not less than 70% of the minimum wage (EUR 658.41, for a full month), in accordance with the current legislation. The cost of 50% of the compensation, the employer bears the costs. However, it is necessary to take into account each individual situation separately (i.e. the age of the child, the possibility of providing childcare by the other parent, or another appropriate way, the possibility of a different distribution of working hours of the worker.) The Government has approved the proposal for an intervention law for keeping jobs in companies operating in the affected industries. Therefore, a healthy worker will be ordered to wait at home for business reasons, the employer will cover 60% of the worker’s average 80% of their wages in the last three months, and the remaining 40% will be covered by the state, further The cost of the full allowance (80% of the salary) is covered by the state for a healthy worker who mus stay in quarantine and cannot do his work from home, by decision of the Ministry of Health.  The law has not yet been adopted.
